Why Sensory Play? The Magic of Baby Development
Babies learn best through play, and sensory classes offer a rich environment to support their cognitive, physical, and social growth! Here’s why sensory play is so important:
✔ Boosts Brain Development 🧠 – Exploring textures, sounds, and movement helps build strong neural connections!
✔ Encourages Social & Emotional Skills ❤️ – Meeting other babies (and parents!) fosters early communication and friendships.
✔ Supports Motor Skills 🏃♂️ – Tummy time, reaching, grasping, and movement activities strengthen little muscles.
✔ Soothes & Comforts 🌿 – Gentle music, soft lights, and calming sensory elements help with relaxation and better sleep.
✔ Strengthens Parent-Baby Bond 🤱 – Interactive play enhances attachment and creates beautiful shared experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age can we start?
From whenever you feel ready! Babies learn from day one — many parents join from 6–8 weeks, others later or earlier. Both are perfect.
My baby is walking, can we still join sensory?
Yes! Sensory runs until just before confident walking age (which varies from baby to baby). From 12 month, storytelling classes are a great next step.
Can I use one pack at multiple venues?
Yes, though intro packs are tied to one venue, but with other packages we have multilocation options. If you want to give it a try with Intro offer and not sure which location works best for you, just drop us a DM or email and we chat about the options of trying few locations.
What if my baby naps through class?
That’s normal! Babies process while sleeping, so they’re still soaking it in. It might be that first few times they have plenty of info to process after only 15minutes, and that's absolutely fine.
Plus, classes are for parents too - enjoy a coffee, a minute for yourself & use the opportunity to connect with other parents who are in the same boat as you.
Is parking available?
Kingston: Bentall Centre, has its own paid multi-storey parking A and B. It is a separate building but it is directly connected with shopping centre via bridge at 8 floor in the parking building.
Wandsworth: free and pay-and-display options close by.
What if I need to cancel?
We do understand that with little babies, sometimes things don't quite go to plan & classes may need to be rescheduled. In these situations, let us know as soon as possible so we can assist you with rescheduling. Please note that our detailed cancellation policy will be provided to you via email once packs are purchased & will vary between each of our class packs.
What should I bring to the class?
Although mats will be provided, we recommend bringing a muslin or blanket for your baby to sit lay or sit on. Feel free to bring any necessary baby essentials such as nappies, feeding bottles or your baby's comforter! & and of course a playful attitude! We provide all the sensory materials and equipment for the activities.
Will there be suitable space to park my pram and facilities to change my baby at venues?
There will always be space for prams to be parked in the venue during the classes. All our partnering venues will have essential baby changing facilities for you to use at your convenience.
Will there be space to socialise with other parents at the venues after class?
Absolutely yes! All our partnering venues are pubs and/or venues with cafes which will have sufficient space for parents & babies to enjoy some downtime after class or socialise. We really encourage you to get to know the other parents & babies in the class and be part of our growing community!
